I love knitting. It is one of the most soothing things I can do with my spare time. Summertime is a real treat around here because taking my son to the playground means knitting, quietly in the sunshine. It is one of those rare luxuries like sleeping in or watching a full uninterrupted movie, and yesterday I sat down, took a break and knit. Now I have to get back to business but I was so glad to get this far I thought I'd share. Unfortunately this, not yet big enough to be called anything, will end up in sitting, an unfinished web for the next while but it was a good thing, nonetheless.

I've just started knitting again too, after discovering the irresistable handspun yarn on Etsy. Now that I've rediscovered how relaxing it is, I'm definitely going to start doing it again regularly!
